1. Navigate to the calendar using the "BOOK TIME" link at the top of the page.
2. Click the button to "Book on the Calendar". 
3. Click on the day you want to book. 
4.  Click on the first hour you want- click "BOOK" to add it to the cart.
5. Return to the calendar and click on the day and the second hour you want.
6. Repeat for each additional hour.
7. When you're done, click on the shopping cart and all of your hours will be displayed.
8. Check out all of your hours at once using the cart.

As a music studio, we recognize the need to be cautious so as not to damage our hearing. We want your experience at the JamSpot to be fun and memorable for the right reasons! Please use hearing protection and reasonable volume levels.

The Jamspot was started by Toledo area musicians who recognize the need for a rehearsal-ready space where musicians of all ages and styles of music can hone their creative talents. All of the gear for a band rehearsal is provided so every group, with or without their own musical gear, can rehearse privately and comfortably in our space.

We've added a few new things and we're excited to tell you about them. There's now a cajon as part of the drum equipment, along with a foot tamborine, hand tamborine and maracas. And we've added a Peavey 412 speaker cabinet for guitarists who want to bring their amp head, so they don't need to bring their heavy cabinet.

We currently provide the following guitars and bass instruments:

• J Reynolds Strat Copy Electric Guitar
• Ibanez GSR200 4 String Bass

Your JamSpot rental includes a Yamaha CP33 Digital advanced Graded Hammer Action Stage Piano and an Alesis Q88 Midi Controller 88 note keyboard. The CP33 creates an authentic acoustic piano sound and has 28 additional voices, including electric piano, strings, clav, and organ with velocity control. The Q88 is quipped with 88 semi-weighted, velocity-sensitive keys and provides an excellent feel that conveys all the nuances of your playing. Feel free to bring your keyboard if ours doesn't suit your style! We play our keyboards through a JBL EON 515 powered speaker with three inputs.

No! At the JamSpot we provide a 6-piece kit with cymbals and throne.  All you bring are your sticks! There's now a cajon as part of the drum equipment, along with a foot tambourine, hand tamborine and maracas.

The JamSpot offers a 6-channel PA with XLR and 1/4" inputs. The PA has Bluetooth connectivity (eSinkin) in a separate dedicated channel to let you stream music wirelessly. Microphones, mic stands and cables are included in all rentals. Several of the mic stands have booms and/or cell phone/tablet holders.

We are located in the Davis Building in downtown Toledo. To find us, GPS the address: 130 10th Street, Toledo Ohio  43604.  That takes you to our entrance in the back of the building where we offer free, lighted, and video-monitored on-site parking. Look for "Spot" and our neon sign over the door!

The JamSpot offers Toledo area musicians and podcasters a comfortable atmosphere to Broadcast, Rehearse or Perform without having to bring all their gear.  All of the equipment is provided. Your audio podcast area is set up and ready to go (bring your own laptop or tablet to connect). Musicians, use our guitars or bring your own to get your custom sound!

The JamSpot is open 24 hours every day, 365 days a year. Use our online calendar to book Audio Podcast, Rehearsal, or Performance time anytime that's convenient for you (based on availability).  Rehearsals and Live Performances are $29/hour. All of the equipment in the space is there for your use. Audio Podcasters rent time for $24/hour. NOTE: Performance Time can be booked for $29/hour but please contact us first to discuss the event.

Yes! Lots of it! There are video surveillance cameras with two-way audio inside the space, and the Davis Building has its own surveillance outside the space. The parking lot is monitored as well. Every session is recorded for everyone's mutual protection. Smile, you're on camera!

Regarding original material, we will NEVER share, post, or otherwise compromise anything captured on video or audio surveillance with anyone!! Recordings are only saved for security purposes and are disposed of after a period of time. As musicians ourselves, we are very sympathetic to the concept of the owner maintaining the rights to their material.

Audio Podcasters have a special area in our studio for webcasting. Audio podcasting equipment is included with your studio rental. Our space is comfortable and quiet. We provide the podcast station connection through a Presonus Audiobox USB. You provide your digital content to share with your audience on your own schedule 24 hours a day.

With 4 guitar amps, a bass amp, a keyboard, drums, mics, and PA, the space will comfortably accommodate up to 8 musicians. If you are bringing more than 8 to the space please let us know in advance.

Definitely! Have you heard of "NPR Tiny Desk Concerts"?  The JamSpot is available for intimate live performances for up to 30 friends and family. Musicians, poets, magicians, comedians... sell tickets to your events, or invite them to attend free of charge, the choice is yours. We provide the space by the hour. You can livestream rehearsals or performances to Facebook Live, Vimeo, Twitch, TicToc, etc.  We have contracted a live streaming professional for live broadcasts for a fee, or do it yourself. All live broadcasts are by special arrangement... let's talk!
